September 5, IFIF quoted from IRNA – Austrian Airlines lauched direct flight from Vienna to Isfahan, central Iran, on Monday.

Plane of the Austrian Airlines landed in Isfahan’s Shahid Beheshti International Airport early on Monday (at 4:25).

The Austrian Airlines carried 53 passengers. It left Isfahan for Vienna at 6:13 with 74 passengers on board.

Isfahan-Vienna flight will operate three days a week on Saturdays, Mondays and Thursdays.

Statistics from the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization indicated that Isfahan has been among main tourism destinations for the Austrian people so that a large number of Austrian tourists have visited the historical attractions of the city over the past three years.
